As a Zoho CRM production environment grows, its data naturally grows with it, and this can eventually run into the storage limits of a Full Data Sandbox. Zoho has introduced an add-on to address this, letting organisations increase their Full Data Sandbox storage rather than being blocked once the default limit is reached.
A Full Data Sandbox previously came with 10 GB of storage by default. Once a production environment grew beyond 10 GB, it was no longer possible to create a new Full Data Sandbox, or to rebuild an existing one, since there wasn't enough room to hold a full copy of production.
Organisations can now increase their Full Data Sandbox storage by purchasing an additional 30 GB, allowing teams with larger production environments to keep creating and rebuilding Full Data Sandboxes without being restricted by the original limit. This add-on can be purchased directly from the Storage page. If your production data exceeds 10 GB, an alert also appears during sandbox creation or rebuild, and you can purchase the storage add-on directly from that pop-up without being redirected to a separate store page.
The extra storage you purchase applies exclusively to the Full Data Sandbox environment. It does not extend the storage available to other sandbox types.
Users with the Admin profile can purchase or upgrade storage using the Add Storage option, as can users on a custom profile that has been given the View Storage permission.
| Storage type | Limit |
