Yes, Zoho publishes a worked example of a Blueprint that's useful for seeing the concept in action before you build your own.
Zoho's sample scenario
Zoho's own tutorial uses a fictional company, Zylker Entertainment, which sells home theatre systems, audio equipment, and similar products. Alongside online orders, Zylker has a dedicated sales team following up leads from demos, events, and other offline sources. Without a structured process, the tutorial highlights two common failure points: reps missing clear guidance on what to do at each stage, and CRM details, such as a discount cap, not being validated at the right moment, so quotes with a discount above the company's 25 percent policy sometimes slip through unnoticed. Blueprint is designed to close exactly these gaps by defining every stage, associating the right people with each one, and guiding reps through execution in a systematic way.
Common real-world use cases
- Sales pipeline stages. Enforcing a strict Deal stage progression, from Qualification through to Closed Won, with required fields and approvals at each step.
- Support SLA compliance. Ensuring support agents follow time-bound steps, with automatic escalations if a case sits too long at a given stage.
- Employee or client onboarding. Defining every step from document collection through to orientation, so nothing gets skipped regardless of who runs it.
Note: A Blueprint doesn't have to cover every single stage of a process. Many teams only build a Blueprint around the strict, high-stakes portion of a pipeline, often the later stages, and leave earlier, more flexible stages to run without one. Blueprint is available on Professional edition and above.
