Zoho Forms or Widgets Not Loading? Check Ad-Blockers

Browser Extension and Ad-Blocker Interference

The issue

Zoho applications fail to display embedded web forms, third-party widgets, or telephony pop-ups, for example integrations with RingCentral or Aircall, even though everything looks correctly configured on the Zoho side.

The workaround

Browser extensions built to block ads and trackers, such as uBlock Origin or Privacy Badger, work by aggressively blocking scripts that load from a different domain than the page you're viewing. Many Zoho features rely on exactly this kind of cross-domain script, so these extensions can end up blocking Zoho's own functionality by mistake, not just adverts. The fix is to whitelist Zoho's domains in the extension so it stops treating them as something to block.

How to check and whitelist

  1. Test in incognito or private mode first. Most browsers disable extensions by default in a private window, so if the missing form or widget suddenly appears there, an extension is very likely the cause.
  2. Open the ad-blocker or privacy extension's settings and look for a whitelist, allowlist, or trusted sites section, the exact wording varies between extensions.
  3. Add the relevant Zoho domain, for example *.zoho.com, *.zoho.eu, or the specific regional domain your account uses.
  4. Refresh the page and confirm the form, widget, or pop-up now appears as expected.
Note: If several extensions are installed, it can take a little trial and error to identify which one is responsible. Disabling extensions one at a time, then reloading the page after each, is the most reliable way to isolate the culprit.
