The General Settings area in Zoho Flow is where you configure the foundational preferences for your organisation's integration environment. These settings govern how Zoho Flow identifies your workspace, formats data, and communicates with your team.
To open the General Settings panel, click the Settings icon in the left-hand navigation of your Zoho Flow dashboard, then select General from the Settings menu. Only the organisation administrator has permission to modify these values.
The organisation name is the display identifier for your Zoho Flow workspace. It appears in the top navigation bar and in certain system-generated notifications. You can update this name at any time to reflect a rebranding or structural change within your business.
The time zone setting determines how Zoho Flow interprets and displays timestamps for flow executions, scheduled triggers, and activity logs. Selecting the correct time zone is particularly important when using schedule-based triggers, as all cron expressions and run times are evaluated against this setting.
Zoho Flow allows you to select the format in which dates and times are displayed within the platform interface. Choose the format that matches your regional convention — for example, DD/MM/YYYY for UK and Ireland users — to ensure that date fields within flow logs and configuration panels are easy to read.
The language preference controls the display language of the Zoho Flow interface. This setting applies at the organisation level, though individual users may also have the option to set a personal language preference from their user profile. Select the appropriate language for your team's primary working environment.
Zoho Flow sends automated email alerts when flows encounter errors or require attention. In the General Settings, you can specify the email address that receives these system notifications. This is typically set to an IT or operations inbox to ensure alerts are seen and acted upon promptly.
After making any changes to the General Settings, click Save to apply them. Changes take effect immediately for new flow runs. No restart or republication of existing flows is required.
