The Zoho BugTracker connector for Zoho Analytics allows you to import your bug and timesheet data and build insightful reports without needing any technical expertise. With more than 50 prebuilt reports and dashboards included by default, you can start analysing bug trends and resource utilisation immediately after setup.

Prerequisites

This connector requires a paid Zoho BugTracker account on the Premium or Enterprise edition, and any paid Zoho Analytics plan. Only portal owners or administrators in Zoho BugTracker can configure the connection.

Data Modules Synchronised

Two data tables are synchronised from Zoho BugTracker into Zoho Analytics. The Bugs module is mandatory and provides the core data for all bug tracking analysis. The Timesheet module is optional and enables reporting on logged time and resource utilisation.

Setting Up the Connector

1. Open Zoho Analytics and select Import from Zoho BugTracker.
2. Name your workspace and add an optional description.
3. Choose your portal and projects to include in the data import.
4. Confirm module selection — Bugs is required; Timesheet is optional.
5. Set the sync frequency and start the initial import. The time taken varies with the volume of data.

Synchronisation Frequency

Free plan accounts sync once per day. Paid accounts can choose from hourly, 3-hour, 6-hour, 12-hour, or daily intervals depending on their subscription tier.

Prebuilt Reports and Dashboards

Once the connector is set up, over 50 reports and dashboards are created automatically. These include bug status analysis by project, pending bugs by milestone, and delayed bug tracking views. Supported visualisation types include charts, pivot tables, dashboards, and summary views, with exports available in PDF, Excel, and CSV formats.

Additional Capabilities

Beyond the prebuilt content, you can create custom formula columns, blend BugTracker data with information from other business applications, share reports with colleagues using role-based permissions, schedule automated email report delivery, and embed reports into websites or internal portals. No coding knowledge is required for any of these tasks.
