The Zoho Expense connector for Zoho Analytics brings your organisation's expense and trip data into a powerful analytics environment. With over 150 prebuilt reports and dashboards available from the moment you connect, you can begin drawing meaningful insights from your expense activity without building reports from scratch.
To use this integration, you will need paid accounts on both Zoho Analytics and Zoho Expense (Professional plan or above). Alternatively, an active Zoho CRM Plus or Zoho One subscription covers both products. Only a Zoho Expense administrator can complete the connector setup.
The connector is included at no extra cost with any paid Zoho Analytics plan. A 15-day free trial is automatically available when you set up the integration for the first time.
You can initiate the setup from either the Zoho Analytics or Zoho Expense interface. Depending on the volume of data in your account, the first import may take anywhere from a few minutes to several hours. You will receive an email confirmation once the initial sync completes.
Scheduled sync intervals vary by plan. Enterprise accounts can sync as frequently as every hour, while Standard and above can choose 3, 6, or 12-hour intervals. All paid plans include a daily sync option. Between scheduled syncs, you can trigger up to five manual refreshes using the Sync Now feature.
The connector pulls across more than 40 data modules from Zoho Expense, including:
Once connected, Zoho Analytics generates over 75 default reports and dashboards automatically. These cover expense trends, policy compliance, trip costs, approval timelines, and more. Supported visualisation types include charts, pivot tables, summary views, tabular reports, KPI widgets, and interactive dashboards.
Beyond the prebuilt reports, you can create custom formula columns, join expense data with other tables, write SQL query tables, and blend Zoho Expense data with information from other business applications for cross-functional analysis.
Reports can be shared with colleagues, with permissions controlling who can view or edit. Workspace administrators can modify shared reports directly; other users must use Save As to create their own copy. You can also schedule reports for email delivery and export them in PDF, Excel, CSV, or HTML format.
If an import fails, you will receive an email notification. To retry, open the affected workspace, go to Data Sources, and click Retry Now. If five consecutive imports fail, the scheduled sync is suspended automatically. For persistent issues, contact support@zohoanalytics.com.
