Connecting Zoho Marketing Automation to Zoho Analytics

The Zoho Marketing Automation connector for Zoho Analytics gives you a comprehensive view of your marketing activity. By connecting the two platforms, you can track campaign performance, spot emerging trends, and use data to refine your marketing strategy and improve lead generation outcomes.

Setup Requirements

Only users with Account Admin or Organisation Admin permissions can configure this integration. The initial data fetch may take several minutes depending on the volume of data in your Zoho Marketing Automation account. You will receive both an email and an in-app notification once the first import has completed.

Data Modules Synchronised

More than 20 modules are transferred from Zoho Marketing Automation into Zoho Analytics, including:

  • Journeys — journey ID, name, status, entry and exit counts
  • Email Campaigns — sent metrics, opens, clicks, and bounces
  • SMS Campaigns — delivery counts, click-through rates, and failure metrics
  • Leads — contact information, status, lead scores, and tags
  • Campaign Reports — opens, clicks, and unsubscribes broken down by location
  • Users, Lists, Segments, Tags, and Topics — metadata and engagement metrics
  • Relationship tables — leads versus lists, tags, and topics

Synchronisation Frequency

You can schedule data refreshes to run every hour (Enterprise plan only), every 3, 6, or 12 hours, or once per day. All paid plans include the daily option, with shorter intervals available on higher tiers.

Managing the Data Source

Feature Function
Edit SetupAdd or remove modules and change sync intervals
Sync History45-day calendar view showing the status of each sync run
Audit History180-day log of user and system activity
Re-authenticateUpdate API credentials when they change in Zoho Marketing Automation
Remove Data SourceSuspend future syncs while keeping previously imported data intact

Sync Failure Causes and Recovery

Note: Synchronisation can pause if a field's data type changes in Zoho Marketing Automation, if selected modules or fields are deleted, or if the connector loses user permissions. To resume, delete or restructure any affected views, or restore the relevant modules and fields in the source application, then use Sync Now to restart the import.

Analysis and Sharing

Zoho Analytics supports over 20 visualisation types for your marketing data, including maps, charts, pivot tables, and interactive dashboards. Reports can be shared with team members using fine-grained permissions, with commenting available for collaborative review. You can export, email, print, or embed reports, and access your dashboards on the go through the iOS and Android mobile app.
