Customising Dashboards in Zoho Analytics

Zoho Analytics gives you comprehensive tools to customise the visual appearance of your dashboards, allowing you to align them with your organisation's branding and create a polished, professional experience for viewers.

Theme Options

Three theme types are available for dashboard backgrounds:

  • Solid: Seven preset solid colour combinations, plus the option to create custom colours using the colour picker.
  • Gradient: Eight preset gradient colour combinations, with custom gradient creation available.
  • Image: Eight preset background images, or upload your own image. Display modes include Fit to Width, Original, and Repeat. Additional controls for brightness, contrast, transparency, and horizontal flip allow you to refine the background image appearance.

Layout and Card Styles

Six theme layouts define how individual report cards are presented on the dashboard:

  • Flat
  • Border
  • Top Border
  • Fill Colour
  • Fill Multicolour
  • Top Border Multicolour

Within each layout, you can further customise margins, corner radius, and shadow intensity (Low, Medium, or High) to achieve the visual weight you want.

Background and Visual Settings

The Basic customisation section lets you adjust:

  • Dashboard background: Colour or gradient fill for the overall canvas.
  • Card backgrounds: Individual background colours for report cards, with opacity control for semi-transparent effects.
  • Blur effects: Apply a blur to card backgrounds for a frosted-glass appearance.
  • Font styles and colours: Adjust typography for titles and body text across all text elements.

Report and Chart Styling

You can show or hide the title and description for individual reports directly from edit mode. Chart-level customisation options include:

  • Legend positioning (above, below, left, or right of the chart)
  • Chart colour palettes applied consistently across all reports
  • Grid colour adjustments
  • Chart visual effects: Default, Chalk, or Freehand styles

Filter Scope Control

Dashboard filters can be scoped selectively. You can configure each filter to apply to all reports, or exclude specific reports from a filter's effect. This gives you precise control over how viewer interactions affect the data displayed across the dashboard canvas.
