Zoho Analytics allows you to embed live reports, charts, dashboards, and data tables directly into your website, web application, blog, or intranet pages. Embedded views reflect live data, so any changes in the underlying dataset are automatically visible to anyone viewing the embedded content.
All view types in Zoho Analytics can be embedded, including:
Only users with whom the view has been explicitly shared can access the embedded content. Viewers must authenticate with their Zoho Analytics credentials. This provides the highest level of security and is appropriate for internal business intelligence portals.
Zoho Analytics generates a unique URL containing a randomly generated private key that makes the link extremely difficult to guess. No login is required to view the content, but the link itself acts as a security measure. You can optionally add password protection and set an expiry date. This option is available on Premium and Enterprise plans.
The embedded view is accessible to anyone without requiring a login or a private key. This is suitable for publicly facing dashboards on marketing sites or information portals where data transparency is intended.
When embedding a view, you can control which interactive features are available to viewers:
You can pass filter criteria dynamically to an embedded view using the ZOHO_CRITERIA URL parameter. This parameter accepts SQL WHERE clause syntax, allowing you to pre-filter data based on the context in which the embed is displayed. Multiple conditions can be combined using AND or OR operators.
You can edit or revoke embed permissions at any time. If a private permalink has been compromised, you can regenerate the random key, which immediately invalidates all previous embed URLs that used the old key.
