Enhancements to Zoho Billing Integration With Zoho CRM
Presently, when Zoho Subscription is integrated with CRM, it automatically adds Zoho Subscription as a related list in the Contacts and Accounts modules. While users can create new Subscriptions, limitations exist in creating subscription-based reports and dashboards.
Introduction of Zoho Subscription Module
Zoho Subscriptions will now be accessible as a dedicated module in CRM, available to users with appropriate permissions. This update empowers users to generate reports based on Zoho subscription data. From now on, Zoho Subscriptions will be displayed both as a related list and as a module. Users can create and view records in related lists, and moving forward, they will have the additional capability to view and create records directly from the Zoho Subscription module. Additionally, users will be able to leverage pre-defined custom views for subscription records.
Reports and Analytics for Subscriptions
Zoho CRM offers predefined report and analytical dashboard presets that users can customize to create personalized reports. This feature provides users with a deeper understanding of their customers and allows them to track key performance metrics for informed decision-making. To explore system-defined reports based on Zoho Subscriptions, navigate to the Reports module and select any available reports under the Zoho Subscription Reports folder. For analytics, two dashboards—Zoho Subscription Overview and Zoho Subscription Insights—are available by default in the left panel of the Analytics module.
Streamlined User Permissions
The integration between Zoho CRM and Zoho Subscriptions, previously controlled by integration owner/admin permissions, will now operate based on the current users' scope. This ensures consistency in user permissions across both platforms, preventing users from accessing CRM features without authorization in Zoho Subscriptions.
