Scenario:
Backup your Zoho CRM database at regular intervals. Each month, your subscription entitles you to two free exports of data - how do I setup those two free backups? I can go to Setup - Export - Data Backup. Under Repeat, I have the options: None, Weekly, Every Two Weeks, Monthly. If I select every two weeks I get the message: "Each month, your subscription entitles you to two free backups, $10 will be charged for every additional backup." Now if we look at January 2018, backup set for the 1st of January, repeats two weeks later on the 15th of January. Then it repeats again two weeks later on the 29th and the customer is charged $ 10. So how do I set up data backup to repeat twice a month so that I get the two free exports of data?
Response from Zoho:
In general paid editions are entitled for two free data exports per month and if an additional data backup is requested in the same month then it is $10 per additional backup, this $10 for additional back up will be charged in the following scenarios.
1) Lets say the user has manually requested ( No schedule has been set ) 2 back ups in that month and while manually requesting 3rd backup in the same month $10 will be charged.
2) Lets say if a user has set Weekly, the first 2 weeks backup will be free, 3rd and 4th weeks backup will be charged or after the 2 free backups if the user stops the backup and again request for a backup in the same month, it will be charged.
3) Considering your January scenario, if a user has set Biweekly and if he is charged for the 3rd backup then we can provide a refund for the 3rd automated backup in that month.
