Zoho Analytics allows you to export your reports and data views to a range of file formats for offline use, further analysis, or presentation. Whether you need raw data in a spreadsheet or a polished PDF for a management report, the export options in Zoho Analytics give you the flexibility to deliver data in the format your audience needs.

View Types That Can Be Exported

The following view types support the export function:

Available Export Formats

CSV

Exports data as a comma-separated values file. Suitable for importing into other data tools or processing with scripts. You can customise the column separator, record separator, and text qualifier.

Excel

Exports data to an Excel spreadsheet. Supports up to 3 million cells per export. Choose between .xlsx and .xls formats.

PDF

Exports a printer-friendly version of the view. Supports up to 3 million cells. PDF exports can include text or image watermarks, with options for font, direction, opacity, and zoom level. Paper size and orientation can also be configured.

HTML

Exports the view as an HTML file that can be opened in any web browser.

Zoho Sheet

Opens the data directly in Zoho Sheet while retaining the original table or report structure. Available for data tables, pivot tables, summary views, tabular views, and query tables.

Image (Charts Only)

Exports chart views as a JPG or PNG image file. This format is only available for chart-type reports.

Password Protection

All export formats support optional password protection. When enabled, recipients must enter the password to open the exported file. This setting is configured on the Export Settings page before downloading.

Watermarks (PDF Only)

PDF exports can include a watermark to mark confidentiality or branding:

• Text Watermark: Customisable font, size, and direction (horizontal or diagonal).
• Image Watermark: Supports JPEG and PNG formats with adjustable opacity (0-100%) and zoom (0-200%).
