A meeting in Zoho CRM records an interaction with a customer at a specific place and time, whether that's a demo, a service discussion, or a negotiation. Meetings are classified into three venue types:
- Online. The meeting is held via one of your integrated online meeting providers, such as Zoho Meeting, Zoom, or Google Meet.
- Client location. The meeting is held at a location agreed with your client, such as their office.
- In-office. The meeting is held at your own office location.

Creating a meeting from your calendar
Open the Day, Week, or Month view of your calendar, click Create or click directly on a time slot, fill in the meeting details, and click Save.
Note: Meetings close automatically once their end date and time passes. There is no separate status field to update. Working with meetings requires View, Create, Edit, or Delete permission on the Meetings module, depending on the action.
