Introducing PRM for Zoho CRM: Partner Relationship Management

Introducing PRM: Build, Manage, and Scale Your Partner Ecosystem

Growing a partner ecosystem is a good problem to have, but what starts as a handful of partners can quickly turn into a maze of spreadsheets, emails, and disconnected processes. Zoho CRM has introduced Partner Relationship Management (PRM), bringing your entire partner ecosystem together in a connected experience within CRM itself, rather than requiring separate tools and manual workarounds.

What PRM Brings Together

PRM gives you a single place to add partner accounts and contacts, manage programs, track partner activities and performance, reward partners for their contribution, and scale your channel operations with confidence. From the moment a partner joins your ecosystem to the moment they earn rewards for driving revenue, every stage of that journey can be managed from one system.

Building Partner Programs That Scale

No two partner relationships are the same, so PRM lets you create multiple partner programs with tiers, defining the eligibility requirements, performance targets, and benefits that apply to each. Performance cycles track a partner's progress over time and help determine whether they continue to meet a programme's requirements.

You can create tiered programmes to organise partners based on performance, eligibility, or other criteria, or use non-tiered programmes where all partners follow the same structure. This supports different partner models, from referral partners and resellers to distributors, affiliates, and strategic alliances, with programmes designed around your own business goals rather than a one-size-fits-all structure.

A Dedicated Workspace for Each Partner

Every partner programme comes with a dedicated partner portal. Partners can collaborate with your business by registering deals and monitoring their own commissions without relying on your team for constant updates, creating a more transparent experience that helps partners stay engaged and productive.

Simplified Deal Registration

Partner-generated opportunities are often difficult to track consistently. PRM lets partners submit deals directly through the portal, while your own team reviews and approves registrations with complete visibility. This helps reduce channel conflicts, protects partner contributions, and maintains a clear record of every opportunity in the pipeline.

Tracking Partner Performance

Evaluate partners against their programme requirements and performance targets through performance cycles, seeing how each partner is progressing against the targets you've set, and using those results to decide whether to promote, demote, or continue a partner within the programme.

Automating Commissions End to End

Rewarding partners shouldn't require spreadsheets and manual calculations. PRM lets you define commission plans, configure eligibility rules, automate commission calculations, discrepancies, and clawbacks, and streamline payouts. Whether commissions are based on transactions or revenue milestones, PRM aims to ensure partners are rewarded accurately, consistently, and on time.
