Zoho has relaunched Zoho Sites as an AI website builder for business, moving the product beyond traditional drag-and-drop site building into a more intelligent, dynamic approach to building and managing a website.

Building a Website with a Prompt

Rather than starting from a blank template, you can describe what you want to build in natural language, and Zoho Sites generates a complete website for you, including pages, structure, layout, sample content, images, and styling.

Once generated, you can refine everything visually inside the Site Builder to match your vision, or use the Zia Chat option within the builder to make further customisations conversationally rather than manually adjusting every element.

MCP Integration: Building with Claude and Cursor

Zoho Sites can be connected via MCP to AI tools such as Claude and Cursor, letting you build and manage your website directly from those tools rather than only from within the Sites interface itself.

Through this connection, you can create pages, update content, manage collections, modify layouts, and adjust components just by describing what you need, or by uploading a sample page design in image or PDF format for the AI to work from. MCP turns natural language into real website actions, making development considerably faster and more accessible than working through a traditional visual builder alone.

Custom Elements and the App Marketplace

Developers can build custom elements, reusable components that go beyond Sites' default capabilities, and reuse them across their own projects. These custom elements can also be published on the Zoho Sites App Marketplace, letting developers contribute to, and monetise, a growing marketplace of developer-built elements, while opening up the ability to build a component once and scale it across multiple implementations.

Unified Content System: Collections and Dynamic Pages

Zoho Sites now brings genuine structure and intelligence to content management, built around three connected concepts:

• Collections. Organise structured data, such as services, team members, testimonials, FAQs, or products, in one centralised system rather than as scattered, individually built pages.
• External Collections. Bring information in from other sources, such as Zoho CRM, and display it on your Zoho Sites pages just like any other content.
• Dynamic Pages. Design a single layout that automatically renders content from your collections, rather than manually building a separate page for every team member, service, or product.

Together, these power scalable websites and deliver genuinely capable directories, portfolios, listings, and catalogues, where content evolves dynamically on top of a fixed, consistent structure.

Beyond the AI capabilities, the visual builder itself has been completely redesigned from the ground up.
