Managing Tabs in Zoho One

Tabs in Zoho One refer to the navigational elements that appear within the Zoho One interface, allowing users to switch between applications and sections without leaving the platform. Administrators can manage which tabs are visible, their order, and their behaviour to create a consistent and focused navigation experience for users across the organisation.

Accessing Tab Management

Sign in to Zoho One as an administrator and open the Admin Panel. Navigate to Applications in the left-hand menu and select Tabs. This section displays the current tab configuration for your organisation's Zoho One interface.

What Tabs Can Be Managed

The tabs available in Zoho One typically correspond to sections such as the app launcher, notifications, feed, search, and any custom pinned applications or Spaces. Administrators can control:

  • Visibility. Show or hide specific tabs for all users or for particular user groups.
  • Order. Rearrange tabs to place the most frequently used options in prominent positions.
  • Default tab. Set which tab users land on when they first sign in to Zoho One, such as landing directly on a specific Space or the app launcher.

Configuring Tabs

  1. Open the Tabs configuration page. From the Admin Panel, go to Applications and then Tabs.
  2. Review the current tab layout. The page shows the tabs currently enabled for the organisation along with their order.
  3. Reorder tabs. Drag tabs to adjust their position in the navigation bar.
  4. Hide or show individual tabs. Use the toggle or visibility controls to hide tabs that are not relevant to your organisation's use of Zoho One.
  5. Save changes. Click Save to apply the new tab configuration. Changes take effect for users on their next page load or login.
Note: Tab settings configured in the Admin Panel apply as the default for all users. In some configurations, individual users may be able to personalise their own tab order from their profile settings, overriding the organisation default for their own view.
