Microsoft Teams Integration with Zoho CRM
Zoho CRM integrates with Microsoft Teams, joining Cliq, Slack, and Google Chat in Zoho's lineup of CRM chat integrations, letting sales teams collaborate and stay informed without leaving Teams.
What the Integration Lets You Do
- Share CRM records in Teams. Share a record with an individual or a channel to quickly get colleagues on the same page, for example sharing a record straight to the person who left a note on it to start a conversation.
- Distribute dashboard charts. Share specific dashboard components to a channel, such as a manager sharing a target achievement chart with the wider team.
- Get automatic notifications. Receive real-time Teams notifications for customer messages, anomalies Zia detects, CRM record events, and CommandCenter journey events, without needing to check CRM directly.
- Access CRM data via commands. Use commands directly within Teams to fetch Leads, Contacts, Accounts, and Deals records without switching applications.
- Pin dashboards as Tabs. Add a CRM dashboard as a Tab within a Teams channel, so key metrics like lead count, campaign performance, and forecast reports stay visible to the team at a glance.
- Add records as conversation cards. Use the message extension to pull Leads, Contacts, Accounts, or Deals records directly into a Teams conversation as cards.
Availability
Available on Standard edition and above, across all data centres, for all users. Admins enable the integration at the organisation level, and users with the Dashboards permission can add dashboard Tabs.
Setting Up a Dashboard Tab
- In Microsoft Teams, click the + icon on a channel and select Zoho CRM.
- Log in to your Zoho CRM account when prompted.
- Select the dashboard you want pinned, and click Save.
Note: The same dashboard can be pinned across multiple Tabs. If a user logs out of Zoho CRM, they'll need to reauthenticate before the Tab continues working for them.
Adding Records to a Conversation
- In a channel where the Zoho CRM app is installed, open the Conversations tab.
- Click More, then Zoho CRM, and log in if prompted.
- Select the record from Leads, Contacts, Accounts, or Deals, and it's added to the conversation.
