OneAuth: Zoho's Multi-Factor Authentication App

OneAuth: Zoho's Multi-Factor Authentication App

Zoho's OneAuth is a multi-factor authentication app built to secure your Zoho accounts as well as third-party accounts, not just Zoho ones.

Key Features

  • Passwordless sign-in. Sign in to your account without entering a password at all.
  • Mobile-based SSO. Access every Zoho application on your mobile device without repeatedly entering your sign-in credentials.
  • OTP authentication. Sign in by entering the OTP shown in your authentication app, the same way any TOTP authenticator works.
  • Easy backup and recovery. Regain access to your account using a passphrase.
  • Multiple account authentication. Secure more than one account from the same app.
  • Multi-device sign-in. Sign in to your account from multiple devices.

Why OneAuth Over a Generic Authenticator App

Any TOTP authenticator, such as Authy, Google Authenticator, or Microsoft Authenticator, can generate the codes Zoho's MFA needs. OneAuth does that too, but adds Zoho-specific conveniences on top: push notification sign-in, QR code sign-in, and the more robust passwordless sign-in feature, none of which a generic authenticator app offers on its own.

Getting OneAuth

OneAuth is available for Android and iOS.

OneAuth can also be set as one mode within a wider multi-mode MFA setup. See Multi-Mode MFA.
