SalesIQ Scripts uses Deluge, Zoho's in-house scripting language, to build fully customisable, rule-based bots. Despite being code-based, it's designed to be approachable, with a drag-and-drop interface and syntax suggestions that reduce the need to memorise Deluge's functions from memory. Built-in functions cover everything from basic logic to third-party integrations, and input and display cards let you collect information from visitors and show them content such as images, articles, links, attachments, and videos.
Zia Skills is another native SalesIQ platform for building bot agents that can be integrated directly into your Zobot to assist visitors.
SalesIQ Scripts is generally recommended if you want to build a bot entirely to your own specification, since it gives access to templates, connections for third-party services, and complete control over customisation. If you already use Google, IBM, or Microsoft's conversational AI platforms elsewhere in your business, integrating that existing investment via Dialogflow, Watson, or Azure may be the more efficient route.
