Zoho CRM's duplicate image detection has been enhanced so you can act on a suspected duplicate directly within the record. Previously the system only alerted you to potential duplicate images, leaving you to sort them out manually. Now you can merge duplicates or mark a record as unique without leaving the module.
Merging turns duplicate detection from something purely informational into something you can act on. When two records have similar images, for example duplicate leads created because the same person got in touch using a different phone number or email address, you can combine them into one master record rather than maintaining redundant entries.
This solves the opposite problem: false positives. Sometimes two images simply look alike, or Zia's face matching flags a pair that isn't actually the same person. Marking a record as unique tells the system not to keep showing that pairing. It pulls that record out of that particular duplicate group, so it won't resurface in future detections.
A sales rep managing client photos in CRM no longer has to work through duplicate alerts by hand. They can merge true duplicates or dismiss false ones on the spot, saving time and reducing errors, which keeps the database accurate.
