This has moved on from where it was first documented. Email, URL, and RSS triggers, originally launched as Beta/Early Access, have since rolled out to general availability in Zoho Flow, alongside on-premises integrations announced at the same time.
A Trigger is the action that initiates a Flow, with exactly one Trigger associated per Flow. The current set of Triggers includes App Trigger, Schedule Trigger, Webhook Trigger, Email Trigger, URL Trigger, and RSS Trigger.
Starts a Flow when an email is received at a unique email address assigned to your Flow. Zoho Flow parses the incoming email based on a template you configure, extracting specific fields as usable variables for later steps. This is well suited to workflows involving consistently formatted emails, such as invoices, cab receipts, payslips, or notifications from custom or API-lacking apps.
Polls a configured API-backed URL at regular intervals, triggering a Flow whenever new data appears. Useful for building automations against private APIs, or apps Zoho Flow doesn't natively support yet.
Builds workflows directly from a blog or news site's public RSS or Atom feed URL. Trigger criteria can be customised during setup, for example limiting the trigger to posts from a specific author or covering a particular topic.
These triggers are now generally available and accessible directly from the trigger selection screen when building a Flow, rather than requiring a request for early access as they originally did.
