Understanding the Zoho Flow Dashboard: Navigation, Metrics and Flow Overview

Understanding the Zoho Flow Dashboard

The Zoho Flow dashboard is your central control point for building, monitoring, and managing all of your automations. Understanding the layout and the information available on the dashboard helps you keep track of your flows' health and quickly navigate to what you need.

Dashboard Layout

When you sign in to Zoho Flow, you land on the main dashboard. The left-hand sidebar provides navigation to the key areas of the platform:

  • Flows: Your library of all active and inactive flows, organised by folder if applicable.
  • Connections: The authenticated links between Zoho Flow and your connected apps.
  • Gallery: Pre-built flow templates you can browse and deploy.
  • Settings: Account-level configuration options, including team management and on-premise agent setup.

Flow Status Summary

The main area of the dashboard displays a summary of your flows. At a glance, you can see how many flows are currently active, how many are inactive, and whether any flows have encountered errors recently. This overview helps you spot problems quickly without needing to open individual flow records.

Execution Metrics

The dashboard includes metrics showing the total number of flow runs over a selected time period, broken down by success and failure. This gives you a quick view of your automation volume and reliability. You can typically filter this view by date range to compare activity across different periods, which is useful for tracking whether your automation usage is growing over time.

Recent Activity Feed

A recent activity feed on the dashboard shows the latest flow executions, including any that failed. Clicking on an entry in the feed takes you directly to the run history for that flow, where you can inspect the full detail of that execution. This makes it easy to investigate an issue as soon as it is flagged without navigating through multiple menus.

Flows List View

Within the Flows section, each flow is listed with its name, status (active or inactive), the apps it connects, the date it was last modified, and the number of times it has run. You can sort and filter this list to find specific flows quickly. The toggle switch on each row lets you activate or deactivate a flow without opening it.

Connections Panel

The Connections panel lists every app you have authenticated with Zoho Flow. Each entry shows the app name, the account or user it is connected as, and whether the connection is currently working. If a connection shows as broken (typically because the OAuth token has expired or the credentials have changed), you can reconnect it from here without needing to edit every flow that uses it.

Notifications and Alerts

Zoho Flow surfaces important alerts on the dashboard, such as flows that have encountered repeated errors or connections that need to be re-authenticated. Keeping an eye on these notifications helps you catch problems before they have a significant impact on your business processes.
