KPI widgets in Zoho Analytics dashboards provide at-a-glance visibility of your most important metrics. They display key numbers, comparisons, and progress-against-target figures in a compact, visually impactful format, making them ideal for executive dashboards and operational scorecards.

Widget Types

Label Widgets

Label widgets present single numeric metrics in a prominent text format. Six variations are available:

• Single label (one metric only)
• Label with a secondary comparison value (for example, showing this month's revenue alongside last month's)
• Label with a performance indicator (showing a percentage change or directional arrow)

Chart Widgets

Chart-based KPI widgets visualise a metric against defined performance ranges:

• Bullet Chart: A bar-style display with qualitative range bands (such as poor, satisfactory, and excellent) that show how a metric performs relative to a target.
• Dial Chart: A semi-circular gauge available in simple, speedometer, and conditional styles. The needle or fill indicates the current value relative to a scale.
• Full Dial Chart: A complete circular gauge ring with customisable metric label positioning, useful when you need a more prominent visual cue.

Configuration Options

• Tooltip: Enable a widget info icon with a custom description (up to 250 characters) to provide additional context to viewers.
• Drill through: Link the widget to up to 20 related reports or dashboards. When a viewer clicks the widget, they are taken directly to the linked content for deeper analysis.
• Images: Embed a static or dynamic image (maximum 200 KB per image) alongside the metric. Dynamic images can change based on data groupings.
• Label formatting: Use parameterised label formats such as ${ColumnName}.VALUE or ${OPERATION} to display values dynamically.

Adding a KPI Widget to a Dashboard

1. Open the dashboard in edit mode.
2. Click Add Widget in the toolbar or drag the widget component from the left panel onto the canvas.
3. Select the widget type (Label, Bullet, Dial, or Full Dial).
4. Choose the data source table and metric column to display.
5. Configure the aggregation function (SUM, AVG, COUNT, etc.) and any comparison period or target value.
6. Set display options, formatting, and drill-through links as required.
7. Save the dashboard.
