The Org Dictionary in Zoho One allows administrators to add organisation-specific words, product names, abbreviations, and technical terms that should be recognised as correct spelling across Zoho applications. Words added here are treated as valid across the organisation's Zoho environment, preventing them from being flagged as spelling errors by built-in spell checkers in applications such as Zoho Mail, Zoho Desk, and Zoho CRM.
Every organisation uses terminology unique to its industry, brand, or internal culture. Without a custom dictionary, spell checkers in Zoho applications may incorrectly flag product names, technical acronyms, place names, or specialised jargon as errors. The Org Dictionary resolves this by creating a shared vocabulary that all users in the organisation benefit from automatically.
Sign in to Zoho One as an administrator and navigate to the Admin Panel. In the left-hand menu, go to Organisation and select Org Dictionary. The page displays all words currently added to your organisation's custom vocabulary.
You can add multiple words in a single session by repeating this process. Common candidates for the Org Dictionary include company or product names, industry-specific acronyms, internal project names, and non-standard place names relevant to the organisation's operations.
Words can be removed from the Org Dictionary at any time by selecting the entry from the list and using the delete or remove option. Once removed, the word will revert to being checked against the standard dictionary and may be flagged as a spelling error in Zoho applications that have spell checking enabled.
