The Zoho Analytics home page gives you a central view of every workspace you own or have been granted access to. This guide covers the key options for organising and managing your workspaces and the views within them.
The home page has two primary tabs: Workspaces and Dashboards. Within the Workspaces tab:
Click the More Actions menu on any workspace card to access the following options. Most require Account Administrator privileges.
Select Rename Workspace, update the name and description, then save.
Choose Duplicate Workspace and select one of two options: With Data copies all tables, reports, and dashboards; With Data Source also includes connection details and DataPrep transformations. Note that scheduled import intervals are not copied, and the Data Source option is unavailable for business application connectors.
Select Mark as Default Workspace so that workspace opens automatically each time you log in to Zoho Analytics.
Schedule periodic backups (daily, weekly, or monthly) and download them via a provided URL. The three most recent backup versions are retained. Reports and dashboards are not included in backups.
Select Delete from the More Actions menu and confirm the prompt. This action is permanent and cannot be undone.
Click the star icon next to a workspace name to bookmark it as a favourite. Favourites sync across web and mobile platforms.
Within the Workspace Explorer, you can organise views into folders to keep large workspaces tidy.
Tags let you apply flexible, cross-folder labels to views. Open any view, click the Tags icon, and type to search for an existing tag or create a new one with a custom colour. Multiple tags can be applied to a single view, and tags can be applied to multiple views simultaneously from the Explorer.
Deleted views are retained in the Trash section for 45 days. Select the view in Trash and click Restore to recover it. Parent tables and their columns are restored at the same time.
Enable Viewer Mode from the workspace menu bar for a streamlined interface optimised for viewing and interacting with reports and dashboards, with editing controls hidden from view. Organisation administrators can control whether this option is available to users.
