The Google Analytics integration in Zoho Campaigns tracks how your email campaigns drive traffic and behaviour on your website, once a recipient clicks through from your email.
What it tracks
Once enabled and set up on a campaign, links in your email are tagged with UTM tracking parameters (source, medium, and campaign name) that Google Analytics recognises. This lets you see, within Google Analytics, exactly which campaign sent a visitor to your site, what pages they viewed once there, and whether they went on to convert, rather than just seeing them as generic "referral" traffic.
How to enable it
- Connect your Google Analytics account. Link Zoho Campaigns to the Google Analytics property for your website.
- Enable tracking on the campaign. When creating a campaign, turn on the Track URLs using Google Analytics option before sending.
Note: This tracks what happens on your website after a click, not what happens inside the email itself. Opens, clicks, bounces, and unsubscribes are tracked natively within Zoho Campaigns' own reporting, separate from what Google Analytics can see.
