Rather than building a Zobot entirely from scratch, Zoho SalesIQ provides a gallery of ready-made templates covering different industries and common business functions, letting you get a working bot live in minutes with only minor edits.

How templates work

You select a template that closely matches your business or use case, make whatever custom edits your business needs, and publish. Because a Zobot can be trained with a different conversation structure and flow, the same underlying platform can be adapted across virtually any industry once given the right template as a starting point.

Examples of available sample bots

• FAQ bot via spreadsheet. Answers common questions by pulling from a connected Google Sheet, rather than needing every answer hard-coded into the bot's script.
• Webinar registration bot. Displays upcoming webinars and dates, registers visitors, logs the registration into your CRM, and can send reminder emails ahead of the event.
• Help desk efficiency bot. Assists with feature requests, demo scheduling, and routing visitors to the right operator.
• Department routing bot. Connects visitors to the correct operator or department based on the nature of their query.
• Lead and ticket capture bot. Captures prospect name and email to create a Lead directly in Zoho CRM, and can create a Zoho Desk ticket for customers reporting an issue, keeping them updated on ticket status.

Adapting a template to your own connections

Many sample bots are built with a specific third-party Connection already wired in. Swapping this for your own service usually just means updating the Connection reference and any related parameters in the script, rather than rebuilding the bot's logic from the ground up.

Moving bots between accounts

Once you've built or customised a bot, it can be exported from one SalesIQ account and imported into another, useful when scaling a proven bot to a new brand or replicating it across teams without rebuilding from scratch. This import and export capability currently applies to bots built on the Codeless Bot Builder.
