Available Setup Methods

The Zoho Analytics MCP Server can be deployed in two broad ways, depending on your infrastructure preferences and whether you need per-device installation.

Remote Deployment

Remote deployment uses HTTPS-based connections and requires no installation on individual devices. There are two options:

  • Zoho MCP — managed hosting through the Zoho MCP platform, the simplest option for most users.
  • Self-Hosted — deploy the MCP server on your own infrastructure for greater control.

Local Deployment

Local deployment runs the MCP server on individual machines, using device-level credentials. There are three options:

  • Docker Setup — run the MCP server in a Docker container for a portable, isolated environment.
  • Zoho Analytics Claude Connector — a dedicated connector for use with the Claude Desktop application.
  • NPM Setup — install and run the server via the NPM package manager for Node.js environments.
