Banner ads in Zoho Backstage let you advertise your event externally, embedding them within blog posts or on your own website to drive traffic through to your event's microsite.
Creating a Banner Ad
- From the Dock, go to Manage, then Promote, then the Blog or Website tab.
- Configure the banner: select a layout from the Choose Layout dropdown, and a date and time format from the Choose Format dropdown.
- Set your preferences for the banner's inline text options.
- Choose the wording for the action button from the Button Text dropdown, which appears on the banner itself.
- Check the Preview section to see how the banner will actually look, including clicking the action button to confirm it redirects to the correct page.
- Click Copy next to the Embed Code box to grab the code for your blog or website.
Part of a Wider Promotion Toolkit
Banner ads sit alongside several other promotional tools in Zoho Backstage: scheduled email campaigns (up to 10 per event, including default scheduled campaigns, all with customisable subject lines and message bodies), social media content sharing, and a shared media library for logos, speaker photos, and other campaign assets that stay consistent across every promotional channel.
Note: Zoho Backstage currently supports sharing event content to social media platforms, but doesn't offer built-in social media post scheduling. If you need to schedule social posts in advance, you'll need a separate tool, such as Zoho Social, alongside Backstage's own promotion features.
A Practical Benefit of Centralised Assets
Because campaign assets and messaging variables are centralised, updating something like your early bird pricing deadline in your campaign settings automatically reflects across email templates and landing pages, rather than requiring manual find-and-replace across separate tools.
