Zoho Bookings: Introduction and Overview

Zoho Bookings: Introduction and Overview

Zoho Bookings is Zoho's online appointment scheduling tool. You publish a booking page, customers pick a slot that suits them, and the appointment lands in your calendar, without the emails back and forth. The video below, first published in April 2020, gives a quick tour. This written summary, added in October 2026, covers the same ground for anyone who would rather read.

What it does

Feature What it gives you
Booking pagesA branded page where customers see your availability and book online. You can share the link or embed the page on your website.
Services and staffSet up the services you offer and the team members who deliver them, with availability rules, buffers between appointments, and holidays. Team members get their own log-ins and calendar views.
WorkspacesYou can map departments or locations to separate workspaces, each with its own booking page showing its own services and team.
Calendar syncSync with Zoho, Google, and Microsoft calendars, so booked time is blocked off and double bookings are avoided. Zoho describes the Google and Outlook sync as two-way.
Notifications and remindersAutomated emails to customers and your team, which cut down on no-shows.
Online meetingsBookings can include an online meeting or remote session.
PaymentsCollect full or partial payment at the time of booking, through supported payment gateways.
IntegrationsConnects to Zoho CRM, so bookings can update your customer records, and to other tools through Zoho Flow and the like.
Plans and prices change. Which features come with which plan, and what they cost, varies, and Zoho revises it from time to time. We have deliberately left prices out. Ask us for the current position before you quote a client.

Zoho Bookings and Zoho One

Zoho Bookings is part of the Zoho One suite. For how to add it to a Zoho One account, see How to Add Zoho Bookings to the Zoho One Admin Panel. If you fix problems with calendar connection, see Why Does My Zoho Bookings to Office 365 Calendar Sync Fail at Sign-In?

Getting it right: our advice

This section is our own advice, not Zoho's.

  • Connect the calendar first, before you share any booking link, so no one can book a slot you cannot take.
  • Build in buffers. A gap between appointments for travel or notes avoids a run of back-to-back bookings.
  • Test the whole journey, booking, confirmation, reminder, and reschedule, as a customer would, on a phone.
  • Mind the personal data. Bookings collect names and contact details, so make sure your privacy notice covers them. This is general guidance and not legal advice.
