How to Set Up Sync Between Zoho Campaigns and Zoho CRM

Zoho Campaigns: Set Up Sync with Zoho CRM

Setting up sync between Zoho Campaigns and Zoho CRM lets Leads and Contacts flow automatically into your mailing lists, keeping your marketing data aligned with your sales data without manual exporting and importing.

Before you start

  • A Standard Admin role in Zoho Campaigns
  • An Administrator role in Zoho CRM
  • Paid plans on both applications

How to set it up

  1. Start the sync. In Zoho Campaigns, go to Contacts, then Sync Contacts, and choose Zoho CRM.
  2. Choose your module. Select Leads or Contacts as the source module.
  3. Map your fields. Map the fields you want carried across, using Map More Fields if you need beyond the default set.
  4. Choose what to sync. Under the current integration model, sync brings across all records in the selected module, rather than a specific custom view or criteria filter.
  5. Set your fetch interval. Choose how often new or updated records should sync automatically, such as daily, weekly, or monthly.
Note: Only one Zoho Campaigns account per organisation can be integrated with a single Zoho CRM organisation. If you need to filter which synced contacts actually receive campaigns, build segments within Zoho Campaigns after the sync, rather than relying on criteria filtering at the sync stage itself.

If sync stops working

Sync commonly disables if the user who originally set it up becomes inactive or is removed from either application, or if your contact sync limit for your Zoho Campaigns plan has been exceeded without Auto-Upgrade enabled. Changing the sync owner, or upgrading your plan, typically resolves this.
