Zoho CRM Microsoft Exchange Extension: What It Does

Zoho CRM Microsoft Exchange

The Microsoft Exchange extension for Zoho CRM lets you synchronise contacts, tasks, emails, and calendar events between Microsoft Exchange Server and Zoho CRM, developed directly by Zoho rather than a third party.

What it does

The extension provides bidirectional synchronisation, quick access to shared Exchange mailboxes, and real-time updates as emails, tasks, and contacts change on either side. Administrators can control what data is synced and choose the direction, rather than being locked into syncing everything both ways.

Availability and cost

Note: This extension is available for Enterprise edition and above, purchased through Zoho Marketplace. On the Ultimate edition, its functionality is included as a bundled feature rather than a separate purchase, so it's worth checking your edition before assuming you need to buy it separately.

Don't confuse this with the old Outlook plugin

This Microsoft Exchange extension is a different product from the older Zoho CRM Plug-in for Microsoft Outlook, which Zoho discontinued, with the plugin stopping working entirely from 31 August 2021. If you're looking for a way to connect Outlook itself, rather than an Exchange Server, see our article on email integration in Zoho CRM, since Outlook now connects via direct OAuth integration or IMAP rather than a dedicated plugin.
