Installing the Client
- Windows. Download the installer file from the Zoho Mail Desktop Lite client page, run it, and follow the on-screen instructions.
- macOS. Download the PKG file, open it, click Continue, then Install, entering your Mac password to authorise. Launch the app from your Applications folder or dock once complete.
- Linux. Download the appropriate file for your distribution (such as .deb or .AppImage) and install it via your package manager or the Linux Software Centre.
Setting It as Your Default Mail Client
On Mac, open the app, click Zoho Mail - Desktop from the top bar, and select Make Default Mail Application. If no other mail client is already installed, Zoho Mail Desktop Lite is generally set as the default automatically once installed. On Windows, this is set through your system's default apps settings rather than from within the application itself.
