Zoho Projects now keeps a project's finances and its work items on the same screen. From the project's Finance tab you can reach quotes, invoices, bills, sales orders, and purchase orders right alongside tasks, phases, issues, and time logs. You can create, send, approve, and convert finance transactions without leaving the project, thanks to an enhanced Zoho Finance Suite integration.
Zoho gives a construction example. A project manager running a commercial renovation, with vendors, subcontractors, and a client to deal with, can handle the whole finance side of the site from inside Zoho Projects.
| Improvement | What it means |
|---|---|
| More modules, less switching | Purchase orders, sales orders, and bills now live inside Zoho Projects, so you do not have to move back and forth between Zoho Books and Zoho Projects. |
| Quick approval and conversion | Approve records from the details page, and convert invoices to quotes or sales orders and back again, to keep the finance flow moving. |
| Controlled finance access | Manage who sees what from the integration page, granting access by module and by user profile. |
| Automated sync | Data flows automatically between Zoho Projects and Zoho Books, with no manual push. |
| Predefined and custom views | Tailored and predefined finance views make every transaction easier to find and act on. |
The integration brings budget tracking and financial transaction logging together in one place, working alongside the rest of the project.
Our full guide, Zoho Projects: Finance Suite Integration, walks through setup, the four billing methods, creating each record type, and fixing sync errors. The same feature also appears in our round-up, Zoho Projects: Q3 2026 Updates.
