The Reports module in Zoho SalesIQ gives you a complete overview of your live chat operation, covering both visitor behaviour and operator performance, accessible from Reports in the left-hand navigation.
The Four Sections
- Overview. A dashboard covering your entire live chat operation at a glance.
- Visitor Reports. Metrics specifically about visitor behaviour and volume.
- Operator Reports. Detailed statistics on agent activity, including average response time, number of simultaneous chats handled, and online versus idle hours.
- Tracking Reports. Broader tracking data covering page views and the types of devices your visitors are using, with some customisation available.
The Overview Dashboard
The Overview section shows a Visitor Status report as a bar graph, breaking visitors down by status (Calls, Attended Online, Closed, Missed, and Tracked in CRM), alongside a Visitor Regions report. Both can be filtered by department using the drop-down above each report, rather than only showing data across your whole organisation.
Choosing a Date Range
- Go to Reports, then Overview.
- Click the calendar icon drop-down in the top-right corner.
- Choose a pre-defined range (Today, Yesterday, This Week, Last Week, This Month, Last Month), or pick a custom range for exact dates.
Note: By default, the dashboard shows all departments for the current day only. Once you change this, your chosen time frame is remembered and displayed the next time you visit.
Individual Operator Performance
Each operator can view their own performance report from My Profile, showing their own activity, attended chats, and ratings, without needing admin access to the full Reports module.
Getting Reports Delivered to Your Inbox
Reports can be scheduled to arrive in your inbox periodically, rather than needing to log in and check the dashboard manually every time.
Going Further: Advanced Analytics via Zoho Analytics
If the native Reports module isn't detailed enough, Advanced Analytics for Zoho SalesIQ, built on Zoho Analytics, includes over 75 prebuilt reports and dashboards, and lets you blend SalesIQ data with other applications such as Zoho CRM, Zoho Desk, Salesforce, or Zendesk for genuinely cross-functional analysis, rather than keeping SalesIQ data siloed from the rest of your stack.
