In Zoho Social, a Portal houses all of your Brands, letting you connect and manage social pages and profiles across different Brands from one place. A Portal is automatically created the moment you sign up.
A Brand represents the social channels for a single entity or business unit, and is created automatically the first time you connect a social channel. Under a single Brand, you can add and manage one of each of the following: X Profile, Instagram Business Profile, Facebook Page, LinkedIn Company Page, LinkedIn Profile, Google Business Profile, YouTube Channel, Mastodon Channel, TikTok Channel, Pinterest Channel, Threads Profile, and Bluesky Profile, alongside WhatsApp and Telegram Business accounts managed through Social Inbox.
A common use case is a digital agency managing social media for several separate clients, creating a distinct Brand per client to keep each business's presence cleanly segregated within one Portal, rather than mixing everything together or maintaining entirely separate Zoho Social accounts.
How many Brands your Portal can hold, and how many total channels across those Brands, depends on your Zoho Social plan. Higher plans support significantly more Brands, each still capped at one of each supported channel type, so businesses managing many profiles per platform generally need multiple Brands rather than one large one.
