Zoho Sprints Integration with Zoho One | Agile Project Management Guide

Zoho Sprints Integration with Zoho One

Zoho Sprints is Zoho's agile project management tool, built for software development teams and any team that works using scrum or kanban methodologies. Within Zoho One, it is available through the app launcher with a single login and can be provisioned for development teams without affecting the access or experience of other departments using different Zoho tools.

What Zoho Sprints Provides

Zoho Sprints provides scrum boards for managing work in progress, a backlog for capturing and prioritising user stories, sprint planning tools for scheduling work into time-boxed iterations, and burndown charts for tracking progress against the sprint goal. Epics can be used to group related stories across multiple sprints, and a release calendar gives teams a view of upcoming milestones and deployments. The tool also supports retrospective meetings with a dedicated retrospective board.

Accessing Zoho Sprints Through Zoho One

Administrators enable Zoho Sprints for users through the Zoho One Admin Panel. Development teams and project managers are provisioned from the centralised user management system, ensuring that everyone with a Zoho One account who needs Sprints access can get it without requiring a separate registration. Conditional assignment rules can automate provisioning for users in engineering or product roles.

Integration with Zoho Cliq

Zoho Sprints integrates with Zoho Cliq to deliver sprint and item update notifications directly into team channels. When a sprint starts or ends, when items are moved between columns, or when comments are posted on a work item, relevant team members can receive a notification in Cliq. This keeps the development team informed without needing to check Sprints constantly and makes sprint activity visible in the same place where the team communicates.

Integration with Zoho CRM and Zoho Desk

For product teams that need to link customer feedback to development work, Zoho Sprints can connect with Zoho CRM and Zoho Desk. Bug reports or feature requests raised as Desk tickets can be linked to Sprints items, giving the development team context on what is driving each piece of work. This connection helps prioritise the backlog based on customer impact and keeps support and development teams aligned.

Zoho Sprints vs Zoho Projects

Zoho One includes both Zoho Sprints and Zoho Projects, serving different project management styles. Zoho Sprints is optimised for agile and scrum workflows, with boards, backlogs, and sprint cycles as its core concepts. Zoho Projects is a more traditional project management tool with Gantt charts, milestones, task dependencies, and resource allocation. Organisations can use both within the same Zoho One subscription, assigning each to the teams that fit their working method.
