Zoho Subscriptions has since been rebranded as Zoho Billing. If you're looking for this product today, that's the name to search for; the core import and export capability remains, but is now documented under Zoho Billing.

Importing Data

Import works the same way across every module, including Customers, Invoices, and Products.

1. Navigate to the relevant module, such as Customers or Invoices.
2. Click the More icon in the top-right corner, and select the import option for that module.
3. Upload your file and select its character encoding.
4. Choose your module's import preferences and click Next.
5. Map the fields in your file to Zoho Billing's fields. Fields are matched automatically where possible, but can be adjusted manually.
6. Review your import details on the Preview screen before confirming, or go back to make changes.

Exporting Data

1. Navigate to the module you want to export from.
2. Click More, then the export option for that module.
3. Choose a Status to filter which records are exported, or select All to export every record regardless of status.
4. Set a Date Range if you want to limit the export to a specific period.
5. Choose an Export Template if you want specific fields only, or leave it unselected to export every field.

Using Export Templates

Export Templates let you export only specific fields, useful when preparing a file for a particular purpose, such as an export tailored specifically for your accountant containing only the amount, tax percentage, and taxable amount fields, rather than the full record. Templates can be created for each module, reused for future exports, edited, or deleted as needed.
