The Settings page in Zoho Zia Agents acts as the central control hub for your organisation. From here you can manage the people who have access, review and purchase AI credits, configure external service connections, set up publishers that trigger agents, and enable instant messaging channels. This article walks through each section in turn.
The Profile section holds the personal information and account details associated with your user record in the organisation. Keep this up to date so that audit logs and notifications reflect the correct identity.
People Management is divided into three tabs: Users, Roles, and Teams.
Super Admins can invite new users by entering an email address and assigning a role during the invitation flow. Existing users can have their roles changed, their accounts toggled between active and inactive, or be removed from the organisation entirely.
The Roles tab displays the pre-defined roles available within Zia Agents. At present, custom roles are not supported, so users are assigned to one of the system-provided options.
Teams allow you to group users together for organisational and access purposes. Administrators can create new teams, rename them, adjust their membership, and delete teams that are no longer needed. To create a team, open the Teams tab, provide a name and description, choose the members to include, and confirm.
This section gives a full picture of how AI credits are being consumed and allows Super Admins to purchase additional credits when needed.
The billing dashboard shows available and consumed credits, with filters to view usage by timeframe. To buy additional credits, click the Buy Credits button, complete the Zoho Store checkout, select your preferred currency (USD or INR), specify the quantity you require, and finalise payment.
ZKS is Zoho's managed connection to supported LLM providers. Zoho handles the billing relationship with those providers on your behalf. Several free Zoho models are included:
Usage beyond these monthly allowances draws from your AI credit balance.
If you prefer to use your own API credentials from an LLM provider, BYOK lets you add those keys directly. Calls made through your own keys are billed directly by the vendor, so they do not consume Zoho AI credits. You can add, edit, and remove API keys from the BYOK interface.
Two reporting views help you understand where tokens and credits are going. The By Model view shows consumption broken down per individual model, while the By Agent view aggregates usage across each deployed agent.
The Connections area within Settings mirrors the main Connections interface. Use it to manage the third-party service integrations your agents can call upon. See the dedicated Connections article for full configuration details.
A publisher is an organisation-level connection between Zia Agents and a Zoho service that allows that service to send events to your agents. Publishers are created once and shared across the organisation.
Supported Zoho services include Assist, Backstage, Bigin, Billing, Books, Campaigns, Commerce, CRM, Desk, Expense, Inventory, Invoice, Marketing Automation, Meeting, SalesIQ, Sprints, and Survey.
The Instant Messaging section lets you enable agent interaction through platforms such as WhatsApp. Setting this up requires connecting a Meta Business account via Facebook Business Manager and configuring a messaging channel.
