Zoho Sites Neo - Ask Zia: Flexible Model Selection

Ask Zia now offers flexible model selection, letting you choose which underlying AI model actually powers your request, rather than being locked into a single, fixed model regardless of the task.

Built-In Model Tiers

Three built-in tiers are available: Low, Medium, and High, letting you match the model's capability, and presumably its speed and cost, to what a given task actually needs. A simple, quick edit doesn't necessarily need the same model as a complex, multi-step generation task.

Bring Your Own Key (BYOK)

Beyond the built-in tiers, you can connect an Anthropic or OpenAI model directly using your own API key. This is genuinely useful if your organisation already has a preferred model provider, existing usage agreements, or specific compliance requirements tied to a particular vendor, letting Ask Zia work with the model you're already using elsewhere rather than only Zoho's own built-in options.

Note: Using your own API key means usage against that model is billed directly through your own account with the relevant provider (Anthropic or OpenAI), separate from your Zoho subscription.

Where This Is Available

Flexible model selection is currently available within the Zoho Sites Neo builder's Ask Zia feature. Zoho has indicated this is part of an ongoing effort to keep refining Ask Zia and adding further AI-powered capabilities, so availability in other Zoho products may follow.
