How to Verify an Email Address in Zoho Campaigns

How Do You Verify an Email Address in Zoho Campaigns?

Before you can send a campaign from an email address in Zoho Campaigns, that address needs to be verified, confirming you genuinely own it.

How to verify a sender address

  1. Add the address. Go to Settings, then Manage Senders under Deliverability, and click Add Sender. You can add up to 5 addresses.
  2. Send the verification email. Click Send Verification Email.
  3. Confirm from your inbox. Open the verification email at that address, and click Verify Your Email Address.

Once verified, the address appears under the Sender Address tab, and its domain appears under Domain Authentication.

Note: If you don't receive the verification email, check spam folders and any email filters on that mailbox before contacting support.

If a verified address still won't select when composing a campaign

Verification alone doesn't guarantee an address is selectable when creating a campaign. Also check:

  • Domain authentication (DKIM). The sending domain also needs to be authenticated, since Zoho Campaigns doesn't support sending on behalf of an unauthenticated domain.
  • Public domain addresses aren't supported. Addresses on public domains like @gmail.com or @yahoo.com can't be used as a sender address, since these domains can't be authenticated the way a business domain can.
For the domain authentication steps, see our article on verifying SPF and DKIM.
