It sounds obvious, but it's the fastest check to rule out, and it's the one people skip most often. If Zoho seems slow, unresponsive, or won't load at all, start by confirming your own internet connection is actually working.
The thirty second test
- Open a new browser tab and go to a well-known, high-traffic site outside of Zoho, such as bbc.co.uk.
- If that page loads quickly and normally, your connection is fine, and the issue is more likely to be with your browser, your machine, or Zoho itself.
- If that page is also slow to load or won't load at all, the problem sits with your internet connection or network, not with Zoho.
Note: If you're on a work network, this is also a good moment to check whether anyone else in the office is experiencing the same slowdown. A shared connection issue, such as a problem with your router, firewall, or ISP, will usually affect more than one person at once.
Connection is fine, but Zoho still isn't behaving?
Good, that rules out one common cause. Move on to the next check in this series to see whether it's your browser causing the problem.
