Introduction to Zoho PRM: Modules and How It Fits Zoho CRM

Zoho PRM: Introduction

When a company sells through partners, growth is welcome but so is the complexity. The more resellers, distributors, and referral partners you work with, the harder it is to keep deals tracked, channel conflicts resolved, and commissions clear. Zoho PRM (Partner Relationship Management) is designed to organise, manage, and scale a partner network in one system, built natively into Zoho CRM.

Phased rollout: PRM is being rolled out in phases. See Introducing PRM for the announcement and availability.

How PRM Fits Your CRM

If you already use Zoho CRM, PRM integrates natively and gives you a dedicated workspace for partner relationships, so customer and partner relationships live in one connected system. Partner data such as accounts, contacts, deal registrations, and commissions stays connected to your existing CRM data, with no duplicate entry or manual syncing. PRM acts as the primary system for partner management while working closely with CRM.

Who Uses PRM

  • Partner managers (admins). Set up partner programmes, invite and manage partners, review registered deals, define and track commissions, and review partner performance.
  • Partner users. Access the Partner Portal and register deals.

The Core Modules

  • Partner Accounts. Stores partner company details.
  • Partner Contacts. Tracks the people associated with each partner company.
  • Deal Registration. Partners register deals, which are reviewed and approved so they don't conflict with other partners.
  • Partner Commissions. Manages and tracks commission earned for successful deals and other eligible activity.
  • Payouts. Records when and how commissions are paid.

Programmes and Portals

Partner programmes define the structure, benefits, and access for partners, and can be tiered or non-tiered. A programme has to be configured to keep the partner lifecycle intact. Each programme has its own Partner Portal, where partners register deals, view commissions, see programme benefits, and collaborate with your business.

What PRM Focuses On

Partner onboarding, programme management, deal registration, deal conflict management, commissions, and performance tracking, aiming to give structure, governance, visibility, and scalability without unnecessary complexity.
