Are Your Colleagues Seeing the Same Zoho Issue?

Do Your Colleagues Have a Similar Fault or Issue?

If the issue follows you across devices, it's time to widen the search. A quick word with your colleagues can tell you a lot about how far-reaching the problem actually is, and it's a step people often forget in the heat of the moment.

Why ask around

A fault affecting several people at once points towards something shared, such as your company's network, a permission or role setting, or a wider Zoho issue. A fault affecting only you points back towards something local to your account, browser, or machine.

What to ask

  • Are they using the exact same Zoho app or feature as you when the issue occurs?
  • Are they on the same network, whether that's the office Wi-Fi or the same VPN?
  • Do they have the same role, profile, or permission level in Zoho as you?
  • Did the issue start at roughly the same time for both of you?
Note: If several colleagues on different networks and devices are all affected at the same time, this is a strong sign the issue may sit with Zoho itself rather than anything local to your business, which makes the next check in this series, whether it's all Zoho apps or just one, especially useful.
